The katana, or the Japanese long sword, refers to a specific type of curved, single-edged sword traditionally used by the Japanese samurai. The weapon was typically worn by members of the buke warrior class and represented the social power and personal honor of the samurai.

This absolutely unique set is a must have for any collector. It includes three katana swords: Bill's, Uma's, and Budd's - exactly like the ones in the movie. The magnificent glossy black hardwood saya (the scabbard), featuring three-leaf sycamore emblem (same as in the movie), and a handguard piece of each sword are intricately designed as individual works of art. Gold dragons on each side of the handguards are partially hidden by black wrappings that match those on the scabbards. 440 Stainless steel heat tempered blade of each katana features wave frosting edge .

In addition each sword has its own unique features. The Bill's katana is decorated with a laughing demon face (same as in the movie) on the saya and a engraved on the blade. ; whereas Uma's saya features a gold leaf symbol (also same as in the movie) and a lion symbol engraved on the blade. The third piece is exactly the same sword that Bill gave to his brother Budd in the movie; the etching on the blade says: "To My Brother Budd, The Only Man I Ever Loved.- Bill."
