The blade is made of 420 stainless steel and bears double cutting edge. The edges have hollows along the blade; which are meant to play the role of some kind of blood grooves. Observe the antique tiny rune etchings.

The handle is intricately worked and has elements plated in 24k antiqued gold. The hand guards depict a double construction which all together resembles a spider. The hilt is festooned with imitation of red gem stones.
