DAISHO DRAGON WEAPONS

Have you ever heard about what was a central weapon of choice of the Samurai, and actually a Samurai’s spirit? Have you ever seen a very stylish and richly decorated weapon with a dragon and sun? Daisho dragon is the one.
The beginnings of a Daisho dragon weapons can be traced back to the turbulent period of Japanese history between the 8th and 16th Century. Around this time Shogunates rose and fell, one person would be in charge of a province, then someone else would take it over; province boundaries also moved in the same way.
Classical weapon systems were developed on the battlefield as well as close fighting techniques.
The Katana was accompanied by a matching Wakazashi; these formed a pair known as a Daisho. It was considered impolite to wear a Katana inside, but the Wakazashi would always be worn, so the Samurai was not defenseless.
At home samurai put their Daisho on a double-rack, edge up, katana on top, Tsuka to the left. Actually they were greeted at the entrance of the house by their wives, who carried the swords after pulling the sleeves of their kimono over their hands in order to not touch the swords with their bare skin. They then put a Tanto into their sash, which was not subject to any restrictions, and was often lavishly decorated.
Although commoners weren't allowed to carry any swords, some of them, especially rich merchants, showed off their wealth by sporting expensive Tanto, walking a very thin line between status symbol and severe punishment. Physicians wore Tanto made of solid wood, and firefighters sometimes had a Tanto with a saw instead of a blade.
As already mentioned, a Daisho is the Katana/Wakizashi or Katana/Tanto pair that was one of the outer attributes of the samurai. Most Daisho were mounted on suite, but actually any combination of a short and a long sword is considered a Daisho; and it is either a Wakizashi or a Tanto together with the katana, never both.
The Katana was treated with great reverence at all times, there manufacture was also of great importance and the making of a blade became an art form in itself. Over the years the Dasho Dragon slayers becomes a great value, and it shows a perfect personal taste.

Anime Final Fantasy - Swords
The defining quality of the Final Fantasy series has always been its storyline. Featuring one of the most complex text-based stories of its time, Final Fantasy outdid the story of Dragon Quest, which featured the traditional plot of saving the Princess from the evil villain. Of course, the complexity of the story was nothing compared to later games, but the ambitious groundwork laid by the young Square.
BLEACH ANIME - SLICING MOON ICHIGO TENSA BANKAI SWORD
The final form of Zangetsu, named tensa Zangetsu (chains of heaven - slicing moon), is considered completely out of the ordinary for any zanpakuto. It consists of an ordinary katana (or a nodachi, as its size is about 175 cm) with a black blade, a handguard in the shape of the manji, which is the kanji for "ban" (full), and a short broken chain dangling as the blade's tassel and replacing the cloth from its released form. In addition to his sword, Ichigo's robe is replaced with a long-sleeved, ankle length black coat with red lining that is closed at his chest.
Anime - Bleach
Hailed at cons as one of the most popular shows of 2004, Bleach has gained massive acclaim in North America, perhaps even moreso than Japan. Based on the manga by Kubo Tite, the show (directed by Abe Noriyuki) tells the story of Kurosaki Ichigo, a high-school student with great spiritual power.
The Mameluke Sword
Originally, Marine Officers could wear swords of any style-as long as they were yellow-mounted. But that changed in 1805, when Lieutenant Presley O’Bannon and his Marines marched across 600 miles of North Africa’s Libyan desert to successfully storm the fortified city of Derna in Tripoli. They were there to put down Barbary Coast pirates taking a toll on American merchant ships in the Mediterranean.
Kadaj's Souba Double Bladed Final Fantasy Sword
This sword is amazing. When you first hold it you will be amazed! While you know better than to strike a tree with it, you will be very tempted. As seen in Advent Children, Kadaj's double bladed Katana is rumored to be another form of Sephiroth's Masamune, thus the blades combine length wise to form the extremely long Masamune (blades don't actually combine on this item).
