It is not a discovery, that the Scottish warriors were the ones of the most ferocious in the world. Even without lot of horses and heavy weapons, these legendary heroes took the huge parts of the land from England. The Scottish man used some variety of weapons, but the most famous was the Claymore sword. The phenomenal reach (about 60 inches) made it almost impossible for the enemy to close with the fighter. The twisted hilt was a better way to grip the sword and it also gave the sword a very elegant, up-scale look.
